Co-Founder/Executive Director
Kristin Collins is Co-Founder and Executive Director of We Bring H.O.P.E. Network and a lifetime devotee of helping others in her community. She graduated from Marion University with degrees in business and project management. Her work at the Boy Scouts of America Crossroads of America Council as a District Executive in the After-School Program is her greatest professional pride. Serving predominantly low-income families of Indianapolis, Kristin developed a curriculum that helped improve the impact non-traditional scouting was able to provide its membership. In the first year of the changed methodology and communication with the after-school members and community partners, membership grew 138%. She was also tasked with increasing the non-traditional programs annual popcorn sales with record sales increasing sales 145% year over year. Modestly she attributes the increase in participation and impact on membership as well as fundraising to creating an effective communication and fundraising plan that included all stakeholders.
As a long time, community advocate she has served as a Girl Scout leader for eleven years with the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, multiple volunteer roles within Lawrence Township schools over the last seventeen years and community outreach coordinator with her church. A wife and mom of six, she loves camping, fishing, and crafting. A survivor of childhood sexual abuse, adult rape, and walking testimony of how to live prosperous with PTSD, Kristin’s lifelong dream is to plant seeds that heal families and break generational curses.
